Schools Liaison Coordinator
We are looking for an organised, approachable and detail-focused Schools Liaison Coordinator to join our Nutrition & Special Diets function.
This new role will help keep communication flowing between our schools, parents and internal teams, ensuring queries are followed through and accurate information reaches the right people at the right time. The role will report to the Director of Nutrition & Food Strategy and work closely with our Special Diets & Business Systems Manager, Operations teams and schools across England.
About the role
You will provide a central point of contact for routine school-meal enquiries and support the administration and coordination behind our menus and special-diet processes. As this is a newly created role, much of the centralised information and the processes needed to support it will need to be developed. Working with colleagues, you will help establish practical ways to gather information, maintain records and manage enquiries, then take responsibility for keeping these accurate and up to date. You will have an active part in shaping how the role works and identifying improvements as it develops.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping develop and put in place clear processes for handling routine enquiries, sharing information and following up outstanding actions.
- Responding to routine school and parent queries about school meals, ordering, menu availability and non-medical dietary questions, referring specialist queries to the appropriate colleague.
- Ensuring approved special-diet paperwork and information reaches the correct schools and kitchens accurately and on time.
- Gathering and verifying school contact details and information about each school’s meal-ordering arrangements, building and maintaining accurate central records.
- Supporting the production, proofreading, formatting and distribution of menu templates, school-facing documents and communications.
- Helping manage shared inboxes, directing queries appropriately and following up outstanding actions.
- Supporting the collection and review of menu and meal-ordering information to identify popular dishes, poor performers and recurring issues.
- Providing wider administrative and coordination support across Nutrition & Special Diets.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
