This is an exciting role that will involve supporting the Schools Liaison, Marketing and Admissions team to recruit students.
This role involves working with the team to provide administrative support so that events run successfully in college and in schools, including Open Events and Taster Days.

37 hours per week will be worked between 8.00am- 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.00am- 2.00pm, Friday.

What you'll do at work
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
To support the Schools Liaison, Marketing and Admissions Team with:
- Inputting of student data and other paperwork for admissions and key college events such as taster days, new student days, open events and enrolment
- Creating promotional presentations to be delivered by the team
- Filing of applicant details and admissions paperwork
- Answering enquiries by email, telephone and in person
- Collating marketing resources for events and interviews
- Using Excel to help schedule interview appointments and Aplicaa (the college’s admissions system)
- Helping prospective students find the best college bus routes
- Supporting the marketing team to update college information online including college websites, social media and college apps
- Punching of student profile information, taking and editing student photographs for use in publicity materials and online

What you'll learn
Course contents
Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation in order to: write letters or emails, create proposals, perform financial processes, record and analyse data. Examples include MS Office or equivalent packages. Able to choose the most appropriate IT solution to suit the business problem. Able to update and review databases, record information and produce data analysis where required.
Produces accurate records and documents including: emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals. Makes recommendations for improvements and present solutions to management. Drafts correspondence, writes reports and able to review others' work. Maintains records and files, handles confidential information in compliance with the organisation's procedures. Coaches others in the processes required to complete these tasks.

Positively manages the expectations of colleagues at all levels and sets a positive example for others in the workplace. Requirements
Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- 4 GCSE's including Maths and English (grade Grades 9-4 (A-C))
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Other requirements
Please tell us about any Level 2 Business or Administration qualifications that you may have.
Strong computer literacy skills, specifically in spreadsheets and databases, will also be required for this role. An ICT skills qualification is desirable, but not essential.
Understanding and awareness of equality, diversity and safeguarding would be valued, as well as willingness to learn further within this area.
