Are you ready to support students across KS3 and KS4 with focused intervention in science?

Science Academic Coach

Immediate start until July 2027

£80 - £90 per day

‘Good’ secondary school, Edgbaston

Support across KS3 and KS4 science

The Role

As a Science Academic Coach, you’ll work closely with the science department to support pupils in biology, chemistry, and physics. You’ll lead small group sessions, offer one-to-one academic support, and assist in preparing students for assessments and exams. Your work will help boost confidence, close learning gaps, and raise overall attainment in science across the school.

The Candidate

You should hold a degree in a science subject such as biology, chemistry, physics, or a related field. You’ll need strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a genuine interest in education. Previous experience working with young people—whether in a school, tutoring, or mentoring setting—will strengthen your application.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
