Job Title: Science Academic Tutor

Location: Willesden, North West London (NW10)

Contract Type: Temporary / Supply Contract (Term Time Only)

Hours: 21.5 hours per week (Flexible working pattern across Monday-Thursday)

Dates: 2 November 2026 - 4 June 2027

About The Role

Are you an enthusiastic tutor looking to support secondary students with their Science learning and academic progress? Randstad Education is seeking a committed Science Academic Tutor to join a vibrant secondary school in Willesden starting this November.

This role offers a flexible part-time schedule (21.5 hours per week across Monday-Thursday), making it ideal for a local candidate seeking a rewarding academic support position throughout the remainder of the academic year.

Key Details

  • Working Schedule: Monday to Thursday (21.5 hours total per week) with flexible scheduling and partial days initially.
  • Placement Period: November 2026 to June 2027 (excluding school holidays and bank holidays).
  • Location: Willesden, NW10 (easily accessible via local public transport).

Requirements (Essential Criteria)

To be considered, candidates must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Recent experience tutoring within the UK education system.
  • A minimum of Grade 7 at GCSE English.
  • A minimum of Grade B at A-Level English.
  • Full right to work in the UK and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to process one).
