Salary: £38,805 - £58,404 (DOE)

About The Science Department
The Science team is collaborative, ambitious and well-resourced, working from modern laboratories and a carefully sequenced curriculum from KS3 to KS5. Teachers plan together, moderate regularly and deliver high-quality practical and theoretical science. KS5 provision is a particular strength, with specialist teachers preparing pupils for STEM pathways.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, well-sequenced lessons across KS3-KS5
- Create a calm, purposeful learning environment with clear routines
- Contribute to consistent behaviour systems across the school
- Support assessment planning, revision programmes and exam preparation
- Build strong relationships that support pupil progress and confidence
Requirements
- QTS and eligibility to teach in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Full-time availability
- Ability to commit to at least one full academic year
- Strong academic background and a degree in Science or a closely related subject
- Effective behaviour management and strong pedagogical understanding
- Experience teaching KS5 Chemistry or Physics
