Science Teacher (KS5 Chemistry or Physics) - Temp to Perm - November Start

About The Science Department

A supportive, ambitious team teaching a well‑sequenced curriculum from KS3 to KS5. Teachers plan together, moderate regularly and deliver high‑quality practical and theoretical science. KS5 is a particular strength, with strong progression into STEM pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality lessons across KS3-KS5
  • Maintain clear routines and a purposeful learning environment
  • Contribute to whole‑school behaviour consistency
  • Support assessment planning, revision and exam preparation
  • Build positive relationships that drive pupil progress

Requirements

  • QTS and eligibility to teach in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
  • Full‑time availability
  • Commitment to at least one academic year
  • Degree in Science or a closely related field
  • Strong behaviour management and pedagogical understanding
  • KS5 Chemistry or Physics experience
