Science Teacher – Berwick-upon-Tweed
KS3/KS4 | Immediate Start | Secondary School
Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Berwick-upon-Tweed?
Ripple Education is working with a secondary school in the area that is looking for a committed and confident Science Teacher to teach KS3 and KS4, with an immediate start.
This is a great opportunity for a teacher who can build positive relationships with pupils, deliver engaging Science lessons and contribute positively to the wider school community.

The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
- Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons
- Maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour
- Assessing progress and supporting pupils to achieve their potential
- Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school team
- Contributing to the wider life of the school where appropriate

Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in a UK school
- The right to work in the UK
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete the appropriate checks
- A minimum of two suitable professional references
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and your responsibilities when working with children and young people

- Can build positive and professional relationships with young people
- Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Communicates effectively with pupils, colleagues and families
- Is organised, reliable and able to use their initiative

- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

Salary: 140 - 250 GBP Per day
