£24,796 – £25,185FTE pay award pending (Actual £21,970 - £22,314)
37 hours per week TTO plus 1 week (39 weeks) 8.30am-4.30pm
Start Date: 1st October 2026 (or as soon as possible after)
We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity to join our fantastic school as a Science Technician, to provide support to enable the smooth running of lessons with a focus on practical activities, and to maintain a safe working environment. This can be a physically demanding role.
Rugby High School is a successful, calm, respectful and welcoming school, it is a delightful environment in which to work. We currently have 960 students on roll who are all motivated, well-behaved and value their education.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide and prepare resources for practical lessons that meets both the health & safety standards and the requirements of the classes involved
- Provide general assistance in the safe storage, transit and accessibility of resources
- Support the Senior technician team in providing and maintaining a healthy, safe and a productive work environment through the routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, laboratories and prep rooms
- Contribute to the school’s statutory duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children
