Temporary Science Technician
The Kingsley School is seeking a Temporary Science Technician, who can support the Science Department.
Description

The successful candidate will be able to support the Science Department and its students in the delivery of the Science curriculum across the school.

We are seeking to appoint a positive, reliable and knowledgeable individual who can support teaching staff and students with practical and experimental work, while contributing as a strong and collaborative member of a successful academic department.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Science Department and its students in the delivery of the Science curriculum.
- Assist teaching staff and students with practical and experimental work.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Work effectively in a busy Science Department environment.
Essential Skills
- Friendly, articulate, and well organized.
- Ability to work to deadlines and multitask effectively.

Hours of Work
- 40 hours per week, 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
- Temporary full-time role until May 2027, with potential part-time continuation thereafter.
Salary
- Actual salary: £21,203 to £21,648 per annum.
- FTE for 37.5 hours: £24,600 to £25,111.
Start Date
- September 2026.
Closing Date
- Friday 21st August at 12pm.
