Our Liverpool site

Our Liverpool facility provides integrated biologics development and manufacturing services across Analytical and Process Sciences. The site has an established track record in biologics development, with capabilities supporting gene therapy drug substance development, viral vectors, plasmid DNA, analytical release testing, and product characterisation.

You will join a collaborative scientific environment where Analytical Sciences teams work closely with project leads and other technical functions to deliver high-quality solutions for internal and client programmes.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and practical Scientific Associate III to join our Biologics Analytical Sciences team in Liverpool.

This is a hands-on laboratory position supporting the development, optimisation, phase-appropriate validation, transfer, and application of analytical methods for biological products. You will contribute to in-process development testing, non-GMP activities, and cGMP release testing while working closely with project leads and multidisciplinary scientific teams.

The role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your experience across a range of analytical disciplines, including immunoassays, molecular biology, product characterisation, and GMP analysis. Depending on your existing knowledge and experience, you may work with techniques such as ELISA, potency assays, qPCR, ddPCR, sequencing, LC-MS, AUC, DLS, DSC, or TEM.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
