About Trafalgar Scientific

Successfully established for over 30 years, Trafalgar Scientific Ltd is the UK’s leading independent Life Sciences Laboratory supplier. Supporting a number of key sectors across the UK & Ireland, our teams service industries including Food and Beverage Manufacturing, Contract Laboratory Testing, Pharmaceuticals, Water Testing, Brewing and Veterinary services, alongside many others.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities, with a strong focus on winning new customers.
  • Grow existing customer accounts by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
  • Build strong customer relationships through regular face-to-face meetings and pre-arranged site visits.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records using the CRM system.
  • Recommend and promote the company's product portfolio, introducing new and innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Provide customers with technical, operational, and day-to-day support, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.

  • (Essential) Degree (or equivalent) held in a relevant scientific discipline, such as Microbiology, Biological Sciences, Cell Biology, Biomedical Science, or Chemistry etc.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Experience

  • Proven experience in solution-based sales or account management preferably within the scientific, life sciences, or laboratory sector but not essential.
  • Experience building and managing customer relationships while delivering commercial growth.
