Scientific Sales Representative / Account Manager

Job Location: Aylesbury, Hertfordshire (Commutable from Watford, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Stevenage)
Job Salary: £26000

We are currently working with a leading chemical supplier in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry who are looking for a talented individual to join their small but growing team.
They are looking for a graduate from a chemistry or pharmaceutical / cosmetic background or someone with some experience to join as a Scientific Sales Representative / Account Manager. The candidate will have an opportunity to travel frequently, within the UK and overseas to conferences and events.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing a strong technical knowledge base of their chemical ingredients
  • Regularly visiting new and existing customers to develop relationships
  • Working closely alongside the Development Chemists to create new formulations and sell
  • Keeping up to date with the market and identifying new business opportunities for the company

Job Requirements:

Essential:

  • A 2:1 or above degree in a Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Science / Cosmetics Science or Life Science related subject
  • Must have a full UK driving license
  • Outgoing personality, drive and self-motivation
  • Flexibility to travel across a selected territory as well as internationally
