Job Description
SECURITY CLEARANCE
Must have or be able to obtain UK Eyes Only SC/DV Security Clearance via the UK Intelligence Community (UKIC) process.

Portsmouth (with some hybrid working available subject to our Hybrid Working Policy)

An opportunity has arisen to be part of some diversified and forward looking programmes. We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join Airbus Defence & Space working on Ground Control systems for Military Satellite Communications in Portsmouth, UK.

The Systems Engineer will provide support to the Delivery of a Milsatcom Ground Control system.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
- Requirements analysis, traceability and verification.
- Bill of Materials / Assembly Tree Management.
- Integration, Verification Validation and Test (IVV&T) support.
- Problem Definition, Non-Conformance and Observation recording and tracking.
- Systems Engineering inputs as required - to support planning, schedule and cost activities.
- Ground System level architectural design definition and trade-offs.
- Technical proposal inputs and support to bidding teams
ABOUT YOU
- System of Systems or Large Scale Integration Experience
- Experience of engagement with customers and partners
- Working understanding of satellite control
