Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Scotland Business Development Manager at Wrap and Pack. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities across Scotland, building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers in manufacturing, distribution, and logistics sectors. The Business Development Manager will conduct client needs assessments, present tailored pallet wrap solutions, and demonstrate how Wrap and Pack products improve cost efficiency, sustainability, and performance.

Day-to-day tasks include:

- Managing the sales pipeline
- Preparing proposals and quotations
- Conducting virtual and on-site customer meetings
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and customer service
The role also includes market research, reporting on sales performance, and contributing to regional growth strategy.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, field sales, or account management, ideally within packaging, logistics, or industrial products.
- Strong skills in relationship building, negotiation, and closing deals, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical product benefits, including cost analysis, sustainability advantages, and performance improvements.
- Solid organizational, planning, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a regional territory remotely.
- Comfort with remote work tools and CRM systems, and proficiency in standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confident presentation skills to diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the Scottish industrial, manufacturing, or logistics market is highly beneficial.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel across Scotland.
