Scott A. Wolfson Appointed Receiver Over Stewart Knives, LLC Assets

Scott A. Wolfson has been appointed by the Delta County Circuit Court as receiver over the business assets of Stewart Knives, LLC d/b/a Bark River Knives located at its former production location in Escanaba, Michigan. In this role, Scott will oversee the preservation and disposition of these assets pursuant to the Court’s order.

This appointment reflects Scott’s experience in court-appointed fiduciary roles and the firm’s continued work helping clients navigate complex business, creditor, and insolvency-related matters throughout Michigan.

About The Appointment

Receivers are often appointed when business assets require oversight under the direction of a court. That role may include preserving assets, managing business-related property, evaluating value, and overseeing a sale or other disposition process.

Scott’s appointment in this matter draws on his background handling complex commercial disputes, business restructuring matters, and fiduciary responsibilities in state and federal proceedings.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
