Fixed term contract/ secondment opportunity until 30th March 2027

We are looking for an independent worker with excellent organisational skills to join our close-knit team of specialist nurses and screening administrators.

This is an exciting new role within Bowel Cancer Screening and an opportunity to join our friendly team who are consistently top scorers for staff morale in the annual staff survey.

Cancer screening services are constantly expanding and play a vital role in supporting the Faster Diagnosis Standard and the early diagnosis of cancer.

Working closely with the Programme Manager, you will be responsible for management of our admin team, monitoring of waiting lists and adherence to screening and Trust standards. You will also have the opportunity to develop a new role within our team, addressing health inequalities and maximizing screening uptake for 50-74 year olds across the whole of Norfolk and parts of Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

If you are considering applying for this post on a secondment basis, please discuss with your Line Manager prior to applying to ascertain whether this could be supported.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
