Pay Range

  • Salary: £34,000 per annum + £4,000 performance bonus

Job Description

  • Location: New York Street, Manchester City Centre
  • Working Pattern: Full-time hybrid role. Following a 12-week training period, you'll alternate between one week in the office and one week from home.
  • Salary: £34,000 per annum + £4,000 performance bonus
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (8:00am - 4:30pm with a 1-hour lunch break)
  • Additional Requirement: One late-night shift per month

About the Role

Reed Screening is looking for an experienced Screening Manager to lead our operational teams and deliver a high-quality service to clients across Local Government, Financial Services and Healthcare.

You'll be responsible for ensuring screening processes are efficient, compliant and consistently delivered to a high standard, while supporting and developing a team of Team Leaders.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead screening operations, ensuring quality, compliance and service standards are met.
  • Deliver a high-quality screening service for clients across regulated sectors.
  • Manage team performance, workloads and resource planning.
  • Coach and develop Team Leaders to drive success.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex or high-risk cases.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure regulatory and contractual compliance.
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience within screening, compliance, risk, vetting or another regulated environment
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally managing Team Leaders or supervisors
  • Strong understanding of quality standards, risk and compliance requirements
  • Confidence in making decisions and handling complex situations
  • A track record of delivering results while maintaining high standards
