Job Title: Screening Sonographer
Location: Guildford, Surrey

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional HCPC registered Sonographer to join our team in Guildford. This permanent role involves delivering high-quality health and wellbeing screening services, including ultrasound scanning, interpretation of results, and producing detailed reports for clients and their GPs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess client health and wellbeing needs, advising on healthier lifestyle planning.
- Undertake abdominal and gynaecological ultrasound scanning (no obstetric scanning).
- Record and interpret results, producing clear reports and GP letters where appropriate.
- Contribute to clinical audits and adhere to CQC guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with UK GDPR regulations.
- Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and continuous professional development.
- Promote equality, diversity, and safeguarding in all aspects of practice.

Essential Requirements:
- Current HCPC registration.
- Appropriate qualifications with at least 2 years post-registration experience.
- Evidence of continual professional development.
Desirable Skills:
- Competence in abdominal and gynaecological scanning.
- Strong report writing and IT skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational skills and ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
- Interest in promoting health and wellbeing.
