Overview
Aru Labs is looking for a Script Supervisor / Continuity Coordinator for an upcoming independent web-series project being produced for a client.
This is a project-based opportunity, not a permanent position at Aru Labs.
The series is a character-driven story exploring startups, ambition, relationships, friendship, money and life.
We're looking for someone detail-oriented who can help maintain story, performance and visual continuity throughout production.
What you'll do
- Track continuity across scenes and episodes
- Maintain detailed script notes during filming
- Track dialogue, actions, props and actor movements
- Record takes, scene numbers and production notes
- Monitor wardrobe, hair and makeup continuity
- Track props and set details
- Note changes made during rehearsals or takes
- Communicate continuity issues to the Director before filming
- Work closely with the Director and 1st AD
- Maintain detailed records that can support the editor during post-production
- Flag inconsistencies between shots, scenes and locations
- Help ensure scenes can be edited together smoothly

What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Script Supervisor, Continuity Coordinator or similar role
- Strong attention to detail
- Good understanding of filmmaking and editing
- Ability to follow scripts closely while understanding visual storytelling
- Excellent note-taking and organizational skills
- Comfortable working quickly on set
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with films, web series, commercials or short films is welcome
This role is especially important because
The series may be filmed across multiple cities and international locations.
You'll help make sure that when a scene filmed on one day is cut together with footage filmed later, the details still match.
Small things matter:
- Which hand held the phone
- Where a character was sitting
- What they were wearing
- Which direction they walked
- Where a prop was placed
- Which dialogue variation was used
- What happened immediately before and after the scene
Working arrangement
- Remote: Limited pre-production
- Travel: Required during production
- Engagement: Project-based / contract
- Production window: Late November – early December
- Potential locations: San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, London, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Bali and other global creative and startup hubs
