Applications are invited from qualified Scrub Practitioners who wish to provide dynamic support to the Surgeons, Anaesthetists, and the theatre teams. This post is looking to strengthen the structure within the Friarage theatre team.
The Surgical Hub offers state-of-the-art technologies in a modern environment. The hub has 6 main theatres, 2 minor ops theatres, a 2 bay regional anaesthetic area, and a 10 bay recovery area with onsite admission and discharge areas.
The theatres provide an operating service to the following clinical specialities:
- General Surgery
- Gynaecology
- Urology
- Plastic Surgery
- Orthopaedics
- Maxillo-facial
- ENT
- Ophthalmic
You will need to be an active member of the multidisciplinary team by demonstrating a range of essential skills to meet the needs of the patient in a safe caring environment that promotes evidence-based practice.
