Scrub Practitioner - Theatres, Band 5
Band 5 job opportunity in Main Theatres at Chelsea and Westminster for an enthusiastic and motivated experienced scrub practitioner or for someone who would like to try theatres for the first time and learn a new skill.
Specialties
We have many specialties including Gender Affirmation, Robotic, Burns, Gynaecology, Trauma and Orthopaedic Colorectal to name a few.
An orientation to all areas will be provided to ensure you have the skills and knowledge to develop.

Role Responsibilities
The post holder will provide high-quality clinical care to patients, in line with the Trust values and in accordance with professional regulations.
- Accept delegated responsibility for specific activities/areas from the senior nurse in charge
- Work in line with Trust policies, objectives, protocols, and local guidelines
- Support members of the team and adhere to the Trust values, and in accordance with NMC / HCPC regulations
- Work autonomously and with others to deliver high standards of care to patients and their careers, both autonomously and as part of a team
- Communicate in line with Trust values, to patients, carers, and staff at all times
- Take every opportunity to continue to develop, practice, and expand their own general and specialist nursing skills
- Maintain high standards of professional and ethical responsibility, accountability, and be aware of the medico-legal aspects of working, in line with professional, regulating, and local guidance

Facilities
Our facilities are some of the best in the country. We have been investing around £10 million a year in our estate. We have recently completed a £30m expansion of our adult and neonatal critical care facilities at Chelsea and Westminster and are planning an ambitious £60m development of an Ambulatory Diagnostics Centre at West Middlesex.
