This is a full-time hybrid Scrum Master role based near London or Kent, with flexibility for some work from home.

The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring teams follow Scrum practices and continuously improve.

The role involves supporting product owners in refining backlogs, coaching teams on writing clear user stories, and helping remove impediments that affect delivery.

The Scrum Master will collaborate closely with software development and business stakeholders, promote transparent communication, track key metrics, and ensure alignment with Goaco’s quality, security, and delivery standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Agile and Scrum practices, including Sprint Planning and backlog refinement.
  • Ability to work with User Stories to translate requirements into clear, actionable tasks.
  • Excellent Communication and facilitation skills to engage multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills to interpret metrics, identify impediments, and support continuous improvement.
  • Understanding of Software Development processes and life cycles, ideally within digital or consulting environments.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PSM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Experience working in hybrid teams and coordinating work across on-site and remote settings.
  • Background in technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
