About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead to support high-performing, cross-functional technology teams. The successful candidate will facilitate Agile ways of working, enable effective Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and help teams continuously improve delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Coach Scrum Teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Scrum principles, Agile practices, and team collaboration.
  • Support backlog refinement, story readiness, estimation, and prioritization in partnership with Product Owners and Engineering Leads.
  • Promote effective sprint planning, clear sprint goals, and predictable delivery.
  • Identify and remove impediments, risks, and dependencies impacting team progress.
  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies and support collaboration across distributed teams.
  • Track and communicate sprint progress, delivery risks, dependencies, and key Agile metrics.
  • Support PI Planning, quarterly planning, and other scaled Agile planning activities where required.
  • Maintain effective Jira and Confluence usage, including backlog, sprint, and reporting hygiene.
  • Encourage continuous improvement through retrospectives, actionable improvement plans, and Agile maturity coaching.
  • Facilitate transparent communication between Product, Engineering, QA, Operations, and business stakeholders.
  • Help create an environment of accountability, collaboration, psychological safety, and shared ownership.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • 10–15 years of professional experience, with significant experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead.
  • Proven experience supporting multiple Agile or Scrum teams in software development environments.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile principles, servant leadership, and Agile coaching practices.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or equivalent Agile delivery tools.
  • Experience managing impediments, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communication.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed, cross-functional technology teams.
  • Experience with scaled Agile practices and PI Planning is desirable.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, influencing, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Mandatory Certifications
    • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or equivalent Scrum certification.
    • Agile certification, such as SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or equivalent.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in financial services, capital markets, market data, or index platforms.
  • Experience using Agile metrics such as velocity, throughput, cycle time, sprint predictability, and team health.
  • Ability to coach teams through Agile transformation and evolving delivery practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
