We're seeking a Scrum Master to join a collaborative delivery team working on modern software solutions in Manchester. This is an opportunity to register your interest in contract-based Scrum Master roles where you could facilitate agile ceremonies, remove blockers and drive continuous improvement across development teams.

This contract role sits within a dynamic technology environment where agile delivery is core to how teams work. You could be partnering with cross-functional squads to implement and refine agile practices, supporting teams to deliver at pace while maintaining quality and stakeholder alignment. The work could involve coaching teams through agile adoption, facilitating ceremonies and helping to remove impediments that slow delivery.

What You Would Do

  • Facilitating agile ceremonies (standups, planning, refinement, retrospectives and reviews)
  • Identifying and removing blockers that prevent teams from delivering effectively
  • Coaching team members and stakeholders on agile principles and practices
  • Tracking delivery performance and helping teams improve their velocity and quality
  • Supporting the adoption of agile methodologies across workstreams
  • Collaborating with product and technical leads to align priorities and expectations
  • Maintaining transparency through clear reporting and visibility into team progress

What You Could Bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

  • Proven experience facilitating agile ceremonies and supporting scrum-based delivery
  • Understanding of agile principles and the ability to coach others in agile practices
  • Experience removing blockers and improving team performance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with agile tooling and delivery tracking
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Authorization to work in the United Kingdom

Nice-to-have:

  • Scrum Master certification (CSM or equivalent)
  • Experience in technology or software development environments
  • Exposure to SAFe or other scaling frameworks
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD or distributed systems teams
