Scrum Master I

Swindon or London – Hybrid

Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 pa + Bonus

Accountable to

Agile/Scrum Team, other Scrum Masters.

Reports to: Senior Scrum Master.

The role

As a Scrum Master I, you are responsible for developing their personal Agile abilities, and championing Ways of Working (WoW) inside a Scrum team in Edenred PayTech. This, to enable the completion of Sprint Goals to deliver incremental customer value.

You will be a self-learner who rapidly expands their knowledge of Agile practices, frameworks, and techniques.

You will be mentored by an experienced Senior Scrum Master, and hence this is an ideal position for someone looking to develop an Agile career. You will ideally have a level 1 qualification in Agile such as PSM1, CSM, DASM, KMP, or ICP. However, enthusiasm and practical experience of developing a team is more important than certification. Hence, applications from candidates without formal Agile certification will be considered. Full training will be provided.

You will ideally have experience of working in an Agile iterative and/or incremental environment regularly solving problems and delivering value to customers. This does not need to be a software delivery environment, however, the nature of our work means that knowledge of various Software Delivery Lifecycles is advantageous.

You will practice the 8 stances of the Scrum Master, initially focused on Servant Leadership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
