We're looking for a pragmatic and delivery-focused junior Scrum Master, on a 12 months fixed term contract, to guide and empower our software teams as we build world-class digital solutions.
As a Junior Scrum Master, you will be a catalyst for Agile excellence—serving multiple cross-functional squads to deliver high-quality software in a fast-moving, adaptive environment. You’ll bring your expertise in Agile frameworks, passion for continuous improvement, and servant-leadership mindset to help teams focus, collaborate, and achieve their goals. This is more than a facilitation role—you’ll be a coach, blocker remover, problem-solver, and delivery champion.
What You'll Be Doing
Agile Coaching & Facilitation
- Lead Scrum ceremonies: Planning, Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives
- Champion self-organisation, team ownership, and Scrum maturity
- Promote psychological safety and constructive collaboration
Team Enablement
- Actively remove blockers and escalate issues when needed
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation
- Empower squads to deliver sustainable, high-quality outcomes

Delivery & Metrics
- Track delivery using Agile metrics: velocity, burndown, cycle time
- Ensure sprint goals are clear, achievable, and delivered on time
- Maintain high standards for backlog hygiene and definition of done
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with Product Owners to manage and refine backlogs
- Ensure transparency and alignment across business and delivery teams
- Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes with clarity
Reporting into the Senior Scrum Master
Tooling & Reporting
- Ensure effective use of Jira (or equivalent Agile tools)
- Support Agile integration with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Provide timely and actionable insights from team performance metrics
What We're Looking For
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I/II) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Agile values, principles, and frameworks
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and cloud-native environments is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field

- Salary: Up to £40,184 per annum, depending on experience
