A leading consultancy is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support a major digital transformation programme within the public sector. Working as part of a highly skilled Agile delivery team, you will help drive the successful delivery of complex technology initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Your new role
As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating Agile delivery across one or more Scrum teams, ensuring Agile principles and best practices are embedded throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with Product Owners, developers, architects, and stakeholders to maximise team performance and delivery outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Removing blockers and impediments affecting delivery
- Coaching teams on Agile and Scrum best practices
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Working closely with Product Owners to manage and refine backlogs
- Tracking sprint progress and delivery metrics
- Managing stakeholder engagement and delivery reporting
- Promoting collaboration across cross-functional teams

What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience working as a Scrum Master within complex technology environments
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching delivery teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience using Agile tooling such as Jira and Confluence
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within fast-paced delivery environments
- Previous experience working on public sector transformation programmes is desirable
- Active SC Clearance is essential
