Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master / Agile Coach to support two established delivery teams as they transition into Digital, Data & Technology (DDaT) and adopt more agile ways of working.
This role is less about enforcing Scrum ceremonies and more about helping teams, Product Owners and stakeholders embrace an agile mindset, improve collaboration, and build sustainable delivery practices during a period of significant change.
You'll work across two squads, coaching teams that are new to DDaT and have varying levels of agile maturity. Your focus will be on creating an environment where agile principles can thrive, helping teams understand why they work in certain ways rather than simply following a framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Coaching Product Owners, squad members and stakeholders on agile principles and ways of working.
- Facilitating effective planning, refinement, review and retrospective sessions.
- Supporting teams through organisational and cultural change.
- Helping establish team rhythms, delivery practices and continuous improvement approaches.
- Adapting agile frameworks to suit the needs of the teams rather than applying Scrum rigidly.
- Building strong relationships and influencing across both technology and business stakeholders.
- Creating psychologically safe environments where teams can challenge, learn and improve.

- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and principles
- Excellent facilitation skills
- Active listening and emotional intelligence
- Adaptability and pragmatism
- The confidence to coach at all levels
- Experience supporting teams through change and agile transformation
- A collaborative, people-first approach
- The ability to challenge constructively and influence without authority.
