About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Scrum Master who plays a central role in ensuring our Delivery Team operates efficiently within the Scrum framework. This role is essential in strengthening our digital infrastructure within a remote-first environment.

What are we looking for?
Key Responsibilities And Deliverables
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
- Coach the team on Scrum principles, agile best practices, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and remove impediments that block team progress.
- Provide motivational guidance and support to the development team.
- Promote a collaborative, healthy, and productive team environment.
- Report on Scrum progress, performance, and key metrics to stakeholders.
- Conduct regular team assessments and provide constructive feedback.

Essential Requirements (Must-Haves)
Experience and knowledge
- Strong understanding of the Scrum framework and principles.
- Proven experience in facilitating key Scrum ceremonies.
- Demonstrable passion for social enterprise, sustainable development, and helping others succeed.
Core Skills And Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on coaching and active listening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

Digital Workplace Requirements
- Basic digital literacy and reliable internet connection
- Proficiency with:
- Gmail and Calendar
- Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Video conferencing and messaging tools
Desirable Skills And Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience working in a remote or digitally-focused team.
- Familiarity with broader agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban).
- Experience with agile tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, or advanced problem-solving.
- Technical skills such as Python, data analysis, or API usage.

What will you be doing?
The volunteer will support the Delivery Team by guiding them through the Scrum framework and ensuring that all ceremonies are carried out effectively and consistently. They will coach team members in agile principles, help maintain focus on sprint goals, and proactively remove obstacles that hinder progress. The Scrum Master will also foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, encourage continuous improvement, and ensure that communication flows smoothly between the team and stakeholders.
