Community Transport Development Associate

SCVS (Swansea Council for Voluntary Service) is the umbrella organisation for voluntary activity throughout the City & County of Swansea, supporting, developing and representing voluntary organisations, volunteers and communities in the County.

Salary: NJC SCP 13, £29,064 per annum

Duration: Until 31st March 2027, with the possibility of extension

Hours: 35 hours per week

Location: SCVS / Homeworking / Community

The Community Transport Hub serves as a single point of contact for members of the public wishing to access community transport services across Swansea.

The postholder will act as the primary contact for the Community Transport Hub, responding to enquiries, assessing transport needs, and arranging the most appropriate community transport solution.

Working closely with the Community Transport Development Coordinator, the postholder will support the development and coordination of community transport services across Swansea.

This includes helping to improve the capacity of existing community transport schemes, strengthening partnerships with providers, and contributing to the effective coordination of services to meet the needs of local communities.
