Role Description

This is a full-time, Sales Development Representative (SDR) role. CPB are based in Banbury but the role can be fully remote too. The SDR will focus on outbound prospecting, generating qualified leads, and nurturing early-stage opportunities for CPB UK’s technology clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Researching target accounts
  • Making high-volume outreach calls and emails
  • Engaging decision-makers
  • Accurately qualifying their needs and interest in IT solutions
  • Updating and maintaining CRM records
  • Collaborating with account managers to hand off qualified opportunities
  • Contributing to campaign feedback and improvement

The SDR will be expected to meet activity and performance targets while representing CPB UK and its clients in a professional, credible manner.

Qualifications

  • Strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills, including experience with outbound calling, prospecting, and opportunity qualification
  • Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage stakeholders, handle objections, and build rapport
  • Solid Sales and Business Development skills, including pipeline management, follow-up discipline, and an understanding of B2B sales cycles
  • Experience in or exposure to the IT or technology sector, particularly infrastructure or solutions sales, is beneficial
  • Comfort using CRM systems and basic office productivity tools, with attention to detail in data entry and reporting
  • A proactive, target-driven mindset, resilience in handling rejection, and the ability to work effectively within a structured, on-site team environment

Previous SDR, telemarketing, or inside sales experience, and education in business, marketing, or a related field, are advantageous but not strictly required.
