The Role
The company closed a funding round not long ago and is putting some of it into building out the go-to-market side. The outbound function is at the start: there's a small SDR team in place and no formal process behind it. You'd be the first person hired to own that, with a mandate to grow the team over the next twelve months.
Day to day that means sequences, data and enrichment, lead routing, activity tracking, and pipeline reporting to leadership. It also means coaching: weekly one-to-ones, call reviews, and being the person who sits with a rep after a bad week.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We're Looking For
- Three to six years in B2B SaaS sales development, with one to two years managing SDRs or BDRs

- You've built or rebuilt an outbound motion. Inheriting a working one doesn't count
- Comfortable in the tooling. You'll be building lists and sequences yourself, at least at first
- You've worked somewhere small enough that nobody hands you a process

Honest Note
This is a build, and builds are uneven. Some quarters will look great and some will look like nothing happened. If you'd rather join a function that already runs, this isn't the one.
