Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Location: London | Hybrid - 3 days office, 2 days WFH
Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 Base + Uncapped Commission
OTE: £45,000+
The Opportunity
We're working with an award-winning creative production company that partners with globally recognised brands and leading media platforms to produce premium documentary content.
With an established portfolio of international clients and a growing slate of documentary series, the business is expanding its commercial team and opening a new London office.
They're looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join the team, helping to identify new business opportunities, engage senior decision-makers and arrange meetings for the senior sales team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone in the early stages of their sales career who wants hands-on training, uncapped earning potential and a clear route into a Business Development Manager position.
The Role
As an SDR, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying and engaging with organisations that could benefit from participating in premium documentary productions.
You'll approach senior stakeholders across marketing, brand and communications teams, introduce relevant opportunities and secure introductory meetings for the wider sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Researching prospective clients and identifying relevant decision-makers across a range of industries.
- Conducting outbound prospecting through LinkedIn, email, telephone and automated outreach campaigns.
- Engaging with senior stakeholders, including Marketing Directors, CMOs and business leaders.
- Booking a minimum of six qualified introductory meetings per week for the senior sales team.
- Creating personalised outreach messages that communicate the value of each opportunity.
- Building and maintaining accurate prospect lists and CRM records.
- Qualifying potential opportunities and providing detailed handovers to the sales team.
- Working closely with the Sales Director to refine outreach strategies and improve conversion rates.

About You
We're looking for someone who communicates confidently, enjoys building relationships and wants to develop a long-term career in sales.
Previous sales experience would be beneficial, but attitude, communication skills and willingness to learn are more important than your CV.
What we're looking for:
- Ideally around one year's experience in sales, recruitment, business development or a customer-facing role, although relevant transferable skills will also be considered.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior professionals.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and starting conversations.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to think on your feet and respond naturally to questions or objections.
- Confidence using the telephone and conducting outbound prospecting.
- Resilience and a willingness to work towards clear activity and performance targets.
- An interest in media, marketing, content production or storytelling would be advantageous.
- A willingness to learn, take feedback and continuously improve.

Salary & Benefits
- Base salary: £22,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.
- Uncapped commission: £1,000 for every meeting you generate that subsequently converts into a closed deal.
- On-target earnings: £45,000+.
- Hybrid working: Three days per week in the London office and two days from home.
- Training: Direct coaching and development from the Sales Director.
- Career progression: A clear pathway into a Business Development Manager role, with the opportunity to manage your own clients and sales pipeline within approximately 18 months.
- Exposure: The opportunity to engage with leading global brands and senior decision-makers across multiple industries.
