BDR Lead | London (Farringdon) | Hybrid 3 days

We're hiring a BDR Lead for an independent, employee-owned market data business in the commodities space. This is the first leadership hire into the function.

You'll run outbound yourself to start with, qualify the inbound flow for the AEs, and build the playbook as you go. Once that's working, you hire and lead three BDRs behind you. Player first, coach shortly after.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

It suits someone who wants to build rather than inherit. The process isn't written yet, and that's the point.

What we're looking for:

  • A real track record in an SDR or BDR seat with genuine outbound, not inbound only
  • Experience selling data, subscriptions or market intelligence. Price reporting, commodity data or financial information especially
  • Comfortable prospecting senior, technical buyers and holding a credible conversation about their market
  • Evidence of leading, mentoring or setting the standard for other BDRs, or a clear case for why you're ready to step up
