Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Echo, you will play a critical role in building our sales pipeline by identifying and qualifying potential customers. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and goal-oriented individual looking to launch their career in tech sales. You’ll partner closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to generate leads, initiate outreach, and connect prospective customers with the right Echo solutions.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify target accounts and key decision-makers in assigned territories.
- Conduct proactive outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn, etc.) to engage new prospects and introduce Echo’s solutions.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine fit and urgency.
- Schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives and assist in ensuring a smooth hand-off.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in CRM.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute targeted campaigns.
- Consistently achieve and exceed weekly/monthly targets for outreach, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Echo, maintaining a positive and energetic presence with prospects.

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in a sales development, lead generation, or similar customer-facing role (SaaS/startup experience is a plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Driven, persistent, and highly organized with strong time management skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Team player with a positive attitude and a strong desire to achieve individual and team goals
