Sales Development Representative

Join a growing technology services business helping organisations navigate their IT, cloud and cybersecurity needs. This is a hands-on sales role with plenty of scope to build your commercial skills and progress your career in the tech sector.

Role Overview

  • Location: London Bridge - 3 days onsite per week
  • Package: Up to £40,000p/a + uncapped commission + benefits
  • Industry: IT Services & Technology

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Research and identify prospective customers across online platforms, databases, social channels and industry networks.
  • Build targeted prospect lists and uncover organisations that could benefit from the company’s technology services.
  • Engage prospects through outbound calls, emails and social outreach, creating meaningful conversations around their business needs.
  • Qualify leads by understanding their challenges, priorities and potential fit.
  • Book high-quality meetings for the wider sales team and ensure prospects are handed over with the right information.
  • Keep the CRM up to date, recording activity and maintaining accurate prospect data.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing to improve outreach, share market insight and support lead-generation activity.
  • Track your activity and results, providing clear updates to your manager and using data to improve your approach.

Main Skills Needed

  • Experience in an SDR, BDR, telesales or similar business development role, ideally within IT or technology services.
  • Confident communicator who can build rapport with prospects at different levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and having commercially focused conversations.
  • Well organised, proactive and able to manage your own pipeline and priorities.
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Goal-focused, resilient and motivated by achieving measurable results.
  • Able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative sales environment.
