Join TCB Group’s Growing Sea Freight Team

TCB Group is an international freight and logistics provider with operations across Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Singapore. Since 2007, we have built a strong reputation for delivering reliable, flexible, and customer-focused logistics solutions by sea, air, and road.

Sea freight is a core part of our business, with our teams managing a broad mix of LCL and FCL import and export shipments across international trade routes. From our Belfast and Dublin offices, we work closely with customers, shipping lines, overseas agents, and logistics partners to provide efficient end-to-end freight solutions.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Sea Freight Operative to join our team in either Belfast or Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced freight professional to take on a varied operational role covering LCL, FCL, and customs activity within a growing international logistics business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day import and export sea freight shipments across both LCL and FCL services.
  • Coordinate shipments from booking through to final delivery, ensuring accurate and timely movement of cargo.
  • Liaise with customers, shipping lines, overseas agents, hauliers, ports, and other service partners throughout the shipment process.
  • Prepare, check, and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and other import and export documents.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of inbound and outbound customs declarations through Northern Ireland (NI) and Republic of Ireland (ROI) customs systems.
  • Arrange collections, deliveries, port movements, and container transport where required.
  • Monitor vessel schedules, shipment milestones, and cargo availability, providing clear and proactive updates to customers.
  • Resolve operational issues, delays, or documentation discrepancies efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure information is updated correctly within internal freight management systems.
  • Work closely with colleagues across TCB Group and our international partner network to deliver efficient end-to-end sea freight solutions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
