Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for logistics and building long-term customer relationships?
We are looking for a Sea Logistics Business Development Manager to join our growing Sea Logistics team in Liverpool.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Growing existing customer accounts
- Driving revenue growth across our ocean freight services
Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in expanding our market presence while delivering tailored logistics solutions that create value for our customers.

How you create impact
- Generate and secure new business opportunities across FCL and LCL ocean freight services.
- Build and develop a profitable portfolio of customers through proactive business development activities.
- Prepare, present, and negotiate tailored logistics solutions and commercial proposals.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of sea freight products, trade lanes, and market trends to support customer growth.
- Collaborate with Trade Management and Customer Care teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and service delivery.
- Monitor market activity, competitor offerings, and pricing trends to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
- Manage and maintain accurate customer information, pipeline activity, and sales performance through CRM systems.
- Deliver against agreed sales targets, contributing to revenue growth, volume increases, and market share expansion.

What we would like you to bring
- Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain solutions.
- Strong track record of winning new business and developing customer relationships.
- Experience managing sales pipelines, customer portfolios, and lead generation activities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Commercially minded with the ability to develop compelling customer value propositions.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise activities and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital sales tools.
- A resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven approach with a passion for delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
