As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. You will be a key member of the Sea Logistics Supplier Invoice Disputes team . Approximately 75% of invoices are automatically passed or process by our Belgrade team. The holder of this role will be responsible for the remaining 25%. These invoices will either be an operational query, a trade rate query or a supplier dispute or even a combination of any of these. This role is responsible for resolving any query/dispute in order for the invoice to be processed.

How you create impact

  • Identify the query/dispute of invoices and update relevant systems.
  • Contact the relevant suppliers via Teams, Ticket System, telephone or email with disputes in line with the required format/query template
  • Update regularly and maintain reports in line with role requirements and relevant KPI’s
  • Highlight areas of improvement and escalate any issue to line manager
  • Build good working relationship with branch operational teams and their suppliers
  • Performing any other duties agreed with your manager as and when necessary
  • Understand and adhere to national and local QSHE policies & procedures
  • Prepare and issue daily reports to the relevant teams.

What we would like you to bring

  • Good level of IT literacy, especially regarding Microsoft Excel (If/lookups/etc)
  • Experience in maintaining employee relations and customer/trading relations.
  • Sea logistics experience would be preferred but is not necessary
  • Team working and customer focused attitude
  • Sound financial understanding and commercial awareness.
