Role Description

This is a temp role based in Greenwich. The Seamstress will specialise in the construction of luxury bridal and couture garments, with a focus on precision cutting, stitching, and high-end finishing techniques.

The role is dedicated to bringing designs to life through expert garment construction, working from patterns and technical specifications to produce pieces of exceptional quality. Responsibilities include cutting fabrics, assembling garments, and executing intricate stitching and detailing in line with Alonuko’s couture standards.

You will work as part of a highly skilled team to ensure each garment is constructed with accuracy, consistency, and an uncompromising attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Advanced skills in garment construction, with a strong focus on bridal and couture techniques.
  • High level of precision in cutting, stitching, and assembling complex garments.
  • Strong understanding of luxury fabrics and how to handle delicate and structured materials.
  • Experience working from patterns and technical specifications with accuracy.
  • Ability to execute intricate detailing and maintain consistency across high-end garments.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining exceptional standards of craftsmanship.
  • Experience in bridalwear or couture garment construction is highly desirable.
