Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Seamstress/Tailor role based in Brandon. The Seamstress/Tailor will be responsible for dressmaking and tailoring tasks, including garment construction, alterations, repairs, and finishing to luxury standards. Daily work includes measuring and fitting clients, adjusting garments for optimal fit, and following design specifications and patterns. The role also involves collaborating with the customer service team, communicating clearly with clients about their needs, and maintaining accurate records of work orders. The Seamstress/Tailor will help uphold quality control, ensure timely completion of pieces, and support production needs for both retail and private label collections.

- Candidates should possess strong dressmaking skills, including garment construction, alterations, and finishing.
- Candidates should possess tailoring skills for both ladies’ and men’s clothing, with a focus on precise fit and luxury standards.
- Candidates should possess fitting skills, including accurate measuring, pinning, and assessing garment adjustments.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Experience in a luxury or high-end clothing environment is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret patterns and technical specifications is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and proficiency with industrial sewing machines and related equipment are advantageous.
- Previous experience as a seamstress, tailor, or alterations specialist, and relevant vocational training or certifications are preferred.
