The Search Associate will support the delivery of retained and contingent recruitment searches by researching markets, identifying high-performing candidates, conducting initial qualification calls, and maintaining strong candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process.

You will work closely with experienced consultants while developing a detailed understanding of the companies, markets, and commercial roles we recruit across.

Over time, you will be given genuine ownership of the candidate side of live searches and will play an important role in helping our clients identify and secure exceptional talent.

The Desk You Will Be Joining

The team partners with rapidly scaling companies that provide data, research, technology, and intelligence products to some of the world’s most sophisticated organisations, including:

Our clients include alternative-data providers, financial-data platforms, investment-research businesses, expert networks, market-intelligence companies, AI-powered research platforms, and other specialist information-services businesses.

You will help recruit commercial professionals into these organisations, including Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and senior commercial leadership positions.

  • Approach prospective candidates by telephone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Conduct initial qualification and screening calls to understand candidates’ experience, performance, motivation, compensation, and career objectives.
  • Work closely with Consultants on the team to qualify, shortlist, and present suitable candidates for defined vacancies.
  • Produce accurate and compelling candidate profiles, interview summaries, and written submissions.
  • Coordinate candidate interviews and maintain regular communication before and after each stage.
  • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and AI notetakers to improve research, sourcing, written communication, and productivity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About Engage PSG

Engage PSG was founded on a simple belief: meaningful partnerships drive lasting success.

Data is in our DNA.

Our story begins more than 30 years ago at Dun & Bradstreet, one of the world’s original business-data companies, where our CEO, Kevin Cruickshank, built his career selling data, insight, and risk solutions into financial services.

Working with banks and financial institutions, he learned first-hand how the right data drives some of the world’s most important commercial decisions.

He also developed deep expertise in business identity, compliance, and financial services, which continues to shape how Engage operates today.

After going on to lead the Banking and Financial Services organisation at one of the world’s foremost Know Your Business companies, Kevin launched Engage PSG, combining that data-led commercial mindset with the principles of high-touch executive search.

Since then, Engage PSG has grown from a UK-based search business into a global specialist, with teams in London, Los Angeles, and Sydney.

Our consultants bring decades of collective experience across Data, AI, Digital Identity, Risk, Fraud, and Compliance. We partner with rapidly scaling vendors whose technology, data, and intelligence power decision-making for sophisticated investors, institutions, and global businesses.

We do not simply recruit within the data world—we come from it.

By joining Engage PSG, you will be learning from people who have operated within these markets and understand them from the inside.

Sound Like You?

If you are ambitious, hungry to learn, and excited by the idea of becoming an expert within a specialist, fast-scaling market, we would like to hear from you.

Apply now and start building a major career with Engage PSG.
