Reed.co.uk is looking for an SEO Lead to join their team in Holborn, London or Liverpool.


Overview

Reed.co.uk is one of the UK’s leading job sites, connecting millions of candidates with employers across the country.

We’re looking for an experienced SEO Lead to own our day-to-day SEO performance and drive sustainable organic growth. You’ll work across Product, Engineering, Content and Marketing, as well as with our external SEO and Digital PR partners, to identify opportunities and embed SEO best practice. You’ll also help shape our approach to AI-powered search and LLM visibility.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor organic performance and turn insights into clear actions and priorities.
  • Own the SEO roadmap and manage delivery with internal teams and external partners.
  • Champion SEO across product, content and technology decisions.
  • Identify technical SEO issues relating to crawling, indexing, site architecture, internal linking and structured data.
  • Work with Content and Marketing on keyword research, optimisation and competitor analysis.
  • Track search engine developments and emerging AI and LLM discovery trends.

Skills and Experience

  • At least four years’ SEO experience, with strong technical and on-page expertise.
  • A track record of improving organic performance across medium or large websites.
  • Experience working with Product and Engineering teams to deliver SEO improvements.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics and SEO crawling tools.
  • Experience managing SEO agencies, consultants or specialist partners.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and project management skills.
  • A commercially focused and proactive approach.
  • An understanding of Digital PR, AI-powered search and LLM visibility.
