SEO Manager
Location: Manchester (3 days/week)
Salary: Up to £40,000 + Bonus
A fast-growing, award-winning media agency is looking for an experienced SEO Manager to play a pivotal role within their expanding digital team. Known for its collaborative culture, strong client partnerships, and impressive portfolio spanning regional brands to national names, this agency offers genuine progression, autonomy, and the opportunity to shape SEO strategy at a higher level.
Role Overview:
As SEO Manager, you will lead the strategy and delivery of SEO across a portfolio of client accounts, driving measurable organic growth and acting as a trusted advisor to clients. You’ll work closely with wider digital teams, contribute to new business pitches, and help elevate SEO standards across the agency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own and lead end-to-end SEO strategy across multiple client accounts
- Identify growth opportunities through in-depth technical, on-page, and off-page analysis
- Act as the primary SEO contact for clients, delivering insights and strategic recommendations
- Mentor and support more junior team members where appropriate
- Collaborate with PPC, content, and digital PR teams to deliver integrated campaigns
- Lead on performance analysis, reporting, and continuous optimisation
- Support new business activity through audits, proposals, and pitch participation
- Stay ahead of industry trends and algorithm updates, implementing best practices

Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in SEO, ideally within an agency environment
- Proven track record of delivering organic growth across varied client accounts
- Strong technical and analytical SEO expertise
- Confident communicator with experience managing client relationships
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
