SEO Specialist

Two days a week in the office

We're recruiting an SEO Specialist to join a fast-growing scale-up D2C business as it enters an exciting new phase of growth.

Following significant growth and recent investment, the business is continuing to build its digital capability. Reporting to the Director of Digital, you'll take ownership of organic search performance across a large and growing eCommerce website.

It's a broad, hands-on role covering technical SEO, on-page optimisation, content and authority building, with plenty of opportunity to identify and implement your own ideas. You'll work closely with content, development and the wider digital team in a test-and-learn environment, with a clear focus on increasing organic visibility, customer acquisition and revenue.

What you'll be doing

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we're looking for

You'll have strong hands-on SEO experience gained either in-house or agency-side, with a good understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimisation and content-led SEO.

You'll be comfortable with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush or similar. Just as importantly, you'll be commercially minded and interested in how SEO contributes to customer acquisition and revenue, rather than focusing purely on rankings and traffic.

Experience within eCommerce, healthcare or another competitive digital environment would be useful, although isn't essential.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants genuine ownership of SEO within a growing, entrepreneurial business, while still having the support of an established digital team around them.
