SEO, AEO & GEO Specialist

Location: London, 3 days per week onsite
Working Pattern: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP

Long-term contract role (2+ years), Inside IR35 via an accredited umbrella company

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SEO, AEO & GEO Specialist to join a high-profile digital acquisition and marketing function within a leading global organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for an SEO professional to work at the forefront of the rapidly evolving search landscape, where traditional search engines are increasingly being complemented by AI-powered search, answer engines and generative AI platforms.
You will play a key role in improving how the organisation's products, services and content are discovered, understood and represented across traditional search engines and emerging AI platforms, including Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini and Bing.
The role combines technical SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), structured data, content optimisation and analytics. You will work closely with product, engineering, marketing, content and analytics teams to improve organic visibility and ensure content is accurately interpreted and surfaced across the evolving search ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and support SEO, AEO and GEO strategies across traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven search platforms.
  • Take ownership of SEO and AEO activity across one or more international markets, working closely with local stakeholders and regional teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve organic search visibility, AI discoverability and the accuracy of brand and product representation.
  • Support technical SEO initiatives covering crawlability, indexation, rendering, site architecture and overall search accessibility.
  • Work with development teams to implement and optimise structured data, including Schema.org and JSON-LD.
  • Analyse how content is being surfaced and interpreted by AI-powered search engines and Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Identify AI visibility gaps, opportunities and inaccuracies across generative search platforms.
  • Optimise content to improve its ability to be understood, referenced and surfaced in AI-generated responses.
  • Monitor traditional SEO metrics alongside emerging AEO/GEO performance indicators, including visibility, citations, mentions and accuracy.
  • Use SEO and analytics tools to identify trends, performance opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with product, engineering, content, analytics and external agency teams to deliver SEO and AEO initiatives.
  • Help establish and maintain SEO, AEO and GEO best practices, standards and documentation.
  • Support education and knowledge-sharing across wider marketing, product and technology teams.
  • Keep up to date with developments in search algorithms, generative AI, LLMs and the rapidly evolving AI search landscape.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
