Role Description
This is a remote internship role for a Search Engine Optimization Specialist. The intern will support the SEO team by conducting keyword research, assisting with on-page optimization, and performing SEO audits for client websites. Daily tasks include analyzing site performance using web analytics tools, identifying opportunities for technical and content improvements, and helping implement link-building strategies in line with ethical SEO practices. The role also involves monitoring search rankings, preparing performance reports, and collaborating with designers, developers, and marketing professionals to align SEO efforts with broader digital campaigns. The position is designed to provide hands-on experience and mentorship in practical, agency-level SEO work.

- Ability to perform and interpret Keyword Research to identify relevant search terms and content opportunities.
- Skills in conducting SEO Audits to assess technical, on-page, and content-related issues affecting search performance.
- Understanding of ethical Link Building practices, including outreach, content-driven link acquisition, and backlink analysis.
- Experience or familiarity with Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console) to track traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Knowledge of On-Page SEO techniques such as optimizing titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, and structured data.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a remote, cross-functional team.
- Interest in digital marketing and willingness to learn current SEO trends, tools, and best practices.
- Relevant academic background or coursework in marketing, IT, communications, or related fields is an advantage.
