Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of production-grade Search Orchestration services for Client Group's enterprise Agentic AI platform, leveraging hybrid retrieval, GraphRAG, reranking, and knowledge discovery.
- Build scalable, secure, and reusable search capabilities using Azure AI Search, Neo4j, Qdrant, BM25, Vector Search, Cross-Encoder Reranking, Python, and Azure AI Foundry.
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and Kubernetes-based deployments on Azure.
- Develop enterprise search solutions integrating Snowflake, SharePoint, Azure services, embeddings, LLMs, and hybrid search architectures to support multiple AI applications.
- Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Product Owners, Data Engineers, and the Architecture Review Board to ensure compliance with architecture standards and ADRs.
- Optimize platform performance, scalability, resilience, observability, and security while supporting production releases, incident resolution, and operational excellence.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, architecture diagrams, API specifications, operational runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials to support long-term maintainability.
- Mentor engineering teams through design reviews, code reviews, and engineering best practices while contributing to continuous improvement across the programme.
- Bring 7–10+ years of software engineering experience, strong expertise in Python, Azure cloud, microservices, API integration, secure software development, and enterprise-scale production platforms.
- Preferred experience includes Healthcare/Life Sciences, GraphRAG, Azure Document Intelligence, Unstructured.io, Graphiti, GLiNER, multi-tenant SaaS platforms, and enterprise AI search solutions with hybrid BM25 + Vector Search.
