Profiles Creative is looking for a Search & Performance Marketing Lead to work with a leading global design agency - Someone to step up, take complete ownership of the performance engine, and shape long-term digital strategy.
Based in London, this high-impact position offers the perfect launchpad for a senior marketer eager to accelerate their career, expand their strategic leadership, and master the next generation of search.
You will directly manage a monthly PPC media budget while building progressive SEO, GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation), and AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) strategies that keep clients at the absolute forefront of digital discovery.
Key Responsibilities
- PPC & Budget Management: Hands-on creation, optimisation, and scaling of multi-channel paid search campaigns, personally driving ROI across our £20k monthly spend.
- Search Strategy Ownership: Architect and implement forward-thinking SEO, GEO, and AEO frameworks to dominate traditional and AI-driven search environments.
- Analytics & Attribution: Oversee complete tracking setup, advanced attribution modeling, and deep-dive analytics to transform complex performance data into actionable growth insights.
- Client Engagement & Advisory: Confidently present holistic search strategies, performance roadmaps, and campaign reporting directly to key stakeholders and clients.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Align internal development, design, and content teams alongside occasional specialist freelancers to deliver seamless end-to-end digital assets.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in a senior performance marketing or search role, demonstrating clear career progression and commercial success.
- Extensive hands-on experience managing paid media budgets across Google Ads and associated search networks.
- In-depth mastery of organic search mechanics, including technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and emerging AI/answer-engine trends (GEO/AEO).
- Strong technical analytics background (e.g., GA4, GTM, Looker Studio) with a deep understanding of multi-touch attribution models.
- Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated experience presenting complex digital strategies to external clients or senior executives.

Nice-to-Have
- Experience managing and mentoring specialist digital freelancers or junior agency partners.
- Prior exposure to performance marketing within creative, recruitment, or fast-paced professional services environments.
- Familiarity with modern conversion rate optimisation (CRO) tools and user journey mapping.
