We are looking to recruit friendly, bubbly, and hardworking individuals to join our Catering team on a Fixed-Term Contract basis.
As a Catering Assistant you will be an essential part of our Catering team, responsible for delivering outstanding hospitality and customer service.

As a Catering Assistant, some of your duties will be:
- Taking customer orders, operating the till and taking payments
- Serving hot and cold food and drinks to our visitors
- Taking and making up ice-cream orders
- Tidy and clean tables/sweeping and cleaning the floor in all visitor areas, in the Food Barn plus catering outlets.
- Running food.
- Barista trained; as will be making a multitude of hot drinks. *Training will be provided.
- Working in the Zoo's Gift Shop & Farm Shop as and when required. *This will require a level of fitness, as will be handling seasonal produce, i.e., pumpkins/Christmas trees

About You
- A great team player, with a flexible can-do attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure
- Must be aged 16 years +
- You must be able to get to this rural location (especially on a weekend / bank holiday).

Work pattern:
Weekends, and during school holidays, all we ask is that you are flexible!
This Seasonal contract will end as of 31st January 2027
Salary:
You will be paid the National Minimum Wage for your age bracket.
